Do you know a child or teenager who is hurting after a loss from death, divorce, or serious illness?
The Rainbows Peer Support program has helped over 2 million children and teenagers move from hurt to healing and hope. Small peer support groups under the guidance of trained facilitators will meet for eight weekly sessions beginning in February 2013.
Rainbows is NOT counseling or therapy.
RAINBOWS promotes emotional healing by giving participants the opportunity to share their feelings and grieve their loss within a safe, caring setting, with peers who have experienced a similar loss. We do not teach or counsel our clients. We simply ask questions, listen and make it easier for participants to talk at the heart level. Confidentiality is stressed at all of our group sessions.
