2013 Advent Penance Services

Ave Maria’s Confession Schedule:

Confessions here at Ave Maria are taking a different look this Advent only, because of the installation of the new church floor.  We will not have our regular Penance Service, but we will have additional Confession times in addition to our regular confessions on Saturdays from 3:00-4:45 pm. 

The additional confession times are as follows:

Saturday, December 7th from 2:00-4:45 pm

Saturday, December 14th from 6:00-8:00 pm

Tuesday, December 17th from 3:00-5:00 pm

Saturday, December 21st from 6:00-8:00 pm

 

Surrounding Parishes Penance Services are:

• St. Mark: Wednesday, December 4th at 7:00 pm

• St. Francis of Assisi: Thursday, December 12th at 7:00 pm

• Pax Christi:  Thursday, December 19th at 7:00 pm

• Our Lady of the Visitation: Saturday, December 21st at  10:00 am

  • Tuesday November 26th 7-9pm Bowling at Brunswick Zone in Lonetree. Cost: $12 includes shoes. Meet at Brunswick Zone
  • Friday December 20th 7-9pm (TBD exact times).   Movie @ 20 Mile Theater.  Cost: $10 for movie, snacks on your own.  Meet at movie theater.

Wednesday, November 13  in St. Dominic’s room at Ave Maria Church, 9:30-11:30 (casual setting).

Living Catholic is topical adult spiritual formation that meets on the second Wednesday of the month from 9:30 until 11:30 in St. Dominic’s room.  After 9 am Mass, come enjoy brunch, meet others interested in spiritual growth, and enjoy an intellectual and spiritual presentation/discussion.  Two certification hours for Catechist Certification are rewarded for each session.

Knights of Columbus #7880 is a fraternal organization dedicated to the support of religious and family activities. It provides Catholic men over the age of 18 with volunteer opportunities in service to the Catholic Church, our parish community, families, and young people.
